In October 2005, Scorpion Mezcal Añejo 5 Year Gran Reserva and Scorpion Mezcal Añejo 7 Year Gran Reserva were awarded Platinum Medals from the Beverage Testing Institute’s (BTI) International Review of Spirits. Standing out among 52 tequilas and mezcals that were entered, BTI called them “superlative” and awarded 96 points to the Scorpion Mezcal Añejo 5 Year Gran Reserva and 97 points to the Scorpion Mezcal Añejo 7 Year Gran Reserva. read more
